The Robbinsville Black Knights basketball team scored 72 points and held the visiting Cherokee Braves to 68 in the Black Knights league triumph on Tuesday.

The Black Knights now sport a 5-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Murphy for a 1A Conference 43 contest on Friday, December 16. Robbinsville will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 69-66 league loss to Hayesville (Hayesville, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-3.

The Braves (3-5) will now prepare for their contest against Andrews (Andrews, NC). The Wildcats enter the 1A Conference 43 contest with a 6-0 record. In their last contest, Andrews nudged Swain County (Bryson City, NC), 61-50, in a league contest.
