Meadowcreek Mustangs (Norcross, GA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Duluth Wildcats (Duluth, GA), 61-50 in a league bout.

With the win, Meadowcreek upgrades its record to 5-4 on the season. The Mustangs host Berkmar (Lilburn, GA) to clash with the Patriots in a AAAAAAA Region 7 bout on Friday, December 16. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 4-6. Berkmar lost 62-44 in their recent league bout against Norcross (Norcross, GA)

Next up, the Wildcats clash with the Pope Greyhounds (Marietta, GA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 17. Duluth will attempt to upgrade on its 4-7 season record. The Greyhounds go into the bout with a 8-2 record after their 59-37 league win over Lassiter (Marietta, GA).
