Milford Bearcats (Milford, IL) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Georgetown-Ridge Farm Buffaloes (Georgetown, IL), 54-21 in a league bout.

With the victory, Milford upgrades its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Bearcats host Hoopeston (Hoopeston, IL) to play the Cornjerkers in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 15. The Cornjerkers come into the bout with a record of 4-5. Hoopeston won 54-46 in their recent league bout against Westville (Westville, IL)

Next up, the Buffaloes play the La Salette Academy Lions (Georgetown, IL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 16. Georgetown-Ridge Farm will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Lions come into the bout with a 4-8 record after their 51-38 non-league loss to Clifton Central (Clifton, IL).
