The Valley Christian Academy Lions basketball team scored 62 points and restricted the host Maricopa Indians to 15 in the Lions league victory on Tuesday.

The Lions now sport a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Santa Maria for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 22.

The Indians (1-5) will now prepare for their contest against Coastal Christian (Pismo Beach, CA). The Conquerors come into the Coast Valley contest with a 1-5 record. In their last contest, Coastal Christian was routed by Santa Maria (Santa Maria, CA), 77-26, in a non-league contest.
