Winfield Generals (Winfield, WV) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Sissonville Indians (Charleston, WV), 66-41 in a league bout.

With the win, Winfield upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Generals host St. Albans (St. Albans, WV) to play the Red Dragons in a non-league bout on Friday, December 16. The Red Dragons go into the bout with a record of 0-1. St. Albans lost 42-40 in their recent non-league bout against Charleston Catholic (Charleston, WV)

Next up, the Indians play the Nitro Wildcats (Nitro, WV) in a Cardinal bout, on Friday, December 16. Sissonville will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 2-1 record after their 50-32 league win over Point Pleasant (Point Pleasant, WV).
