The Thomas Academy Eagles basketball team scored 56 points and held the host Spirit of Life Christian Academy Eagles to 54 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Eagles now sport a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Varsity Opponent for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 15. Thomas Academy will battle a team coming off a 58-27 league win over Brooks Academy of Science & Engineering (San Antonio, TX). The record now stands at 129-450.
The Eagles (0-6) will now prepare for their contest against LifeSpring Academy (Clayton, NC). The enter the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, LifeSpring Academy was nudged by Fletcher Academy (Raleigh, NC), 45-37, in a non-league contest.
