The Belfast Lions basketball team (Belfast, ME), was nudged 42-35 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Mount View Mustangs (Thorndike, ME)
The Mustangs now possess a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Medomak Valley for a non-league battle on Friday, December 16. Mount View will battle a Panthers team coming off a 39-34 league loss to Leavitt (Turner, ME). The Panthers record now stands at 0-2.
The Lions (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against Winslow (Winslow, ME). The Black Raiders come into the B North battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, Winslow was nudged by Presque Isle (Presque Isle, ME), 62-18, in a league battle.
