Easton Valley (Preston, IA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting North Cedar Knights (Stanwood, IA), 40-37 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Easton Valley upgrades its record to 1-5 on the season. The travel to Lisbon (Lisbon, IA) to clash with the Lions in a Tri-Rivers - East bout on Friday, December 16. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 2-4. Lisbon lost 40-33 in their recent league bout against Calamus-Wheatland (Wheatland, IA)

Next up, the Knights clash with the Midland Eagles (Wyoming, IA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 16. North Cedar will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 1-5 record after their 59-48 non-league loss to Tipton (Tipton, IA).
