The Fairfax Lions basketball team (Fairfax, VA), was overwhelmed 48-16 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting West Springfield Spartans (Springfield, VA)
The Spartans now possess a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lake Braddock for a District 4 battle on Friday, December 16. West Springfield will battle a Bruins team coming off a 71-54 league loss to West Potomac (Alexandria, VA). The Bruins record now stands at 2-4.
The Lions (2-3) will now prepare for their battle against Woodson (Fairfax, VA). The Cavaliers come into the District 4 battle with a 1-3 record. In their last battle, Woodson was overwhelmed by Robinson (Fairfax, VA), 52-30, in a league battle.
