The Genesee Christian Soldiers (Burton, MI) basketball nipped the host Hamady Hawks (Flint, MI), 29-27 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Soldiers (3-1) will now prepare for their test against Beecher (Flint, MI). The Buccaneers go into the Genesee Area - Red test with a 1-1 record. In their last test, Beecher got by Bentley (Burton, MI), 70-35, in a league test.

The Hawks now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they host Bentley for a Genesee Area - Red test on Friday, December 16. Hamady will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 70-35 league loss to Beecher (Flint, MI). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-2.
