The Hamady Hawks basketball team (Flint, MI), was overwhelmed 44-23 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Genesee Christian Soldiers (Burton, MI)

The Soldiers now possess a 12-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Our Lady of the Lakes for a non-league battle on Friday, February 10. Genesee Christian will confront a Lakers team coming off a 44-42 non-league loss to Southfield Christian (Southfield, MI). The Lakers record now stands at 4-12.

The Hawks (7-6) will now prepare for their battle against Bentley (Burton, MI). The Bulldogs come into the Genesee Area - Red battle with a 1-11 record. In their last battle, Bentley was overwhelmed by Beecher (Flint, MI), 68-21, in a league battle.
