In Tuesday's league outing, the Sanford Spartans (Sanford, ME) basketball squad edged the visiting Gorham Rams (Gorham, ME), by a margin of 49-47.
The Spartans (1-1) will now prepare for their outing against South Portland (South Portland, ME). The Red Riots go into the AA South outing with a 2-1 record. In their last outing, South Portland was tipped by Windham (Windham, ME), 45-32, in a non-league outing.
The Rams now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Massabesic for a AA South outing on Friday, December 16.
