The Jenkins County War Eagles basketball team scored 42 points and restricted the visiting Jefferson County Warriors to 34 in the War Eagles non-league victory on Tuesday.

The War Eagles now sport a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Screven County for a non-league contest on Friday, December 16.

The Warriors (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Laney (Augusta, GA). The Wildcats come into the non-league contest with a 2-3 record.
