The Little Elm Lobos (Little Elm, TX) basketball nipped the host McKinney Lions (McKinney, TX), 47-40 in Tuesday's league test.

The Lobos (13-2) will now prepare for their test against Guyer (Denton, TX). The Wildcats go into the 6A Region I District 5 test with a 6-6 record. In their last test, Guyer got by Prosper (Prosper, TX), 53-32, in a league test.

The Lions now own a 7-5 record. They play next when they travel to Rock Hill for a 6A Region I District 5 test on Friday, December 16. McKinney will encounter a Blue Hawks squad coming off a 57-23 league loss to Allen (Allen, TX). The Blue Hawks record now stands at 7-6.
