The Marmaduke Greyhounds basketball team (Marmaduke, AR), was nudged 71-67 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Rector Cougars (Rector, AR)
The Cougars now possess a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Buffalo Island Central for a 2A Region 3 battle on Thursday, December 15. Rector will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 66-43 league win over Earle (Earle, AR). The Mustangs record now stands at 6-5.
The Greyhounds (7-5) will now prepare for their battle against Cross County (Cherry Valley, AR). The Thunderbirds come into the 2A Region 3 battle with a 0-6 record. In their last battle, Cross County was nudged by Riverside (Lake City, AR), 90-21, in a league battle.
