McClintock Chargers (Tempe, AZ) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Metro Tech Knights (Phoenix, AZ), 78-27 in a league bout.

With the win, McClintock upgrades its record to 8-1 on the season. The Chargers host Cactus Shadows (Cave Creek, AZ) to play the Falcons in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 15. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 5-4. Cactus Shadows won 55-13 in their recent non-league bout against Independence (Glendale, AZ)

Next up, the Knights play the Central Bobcats (Phoenix, AZ) in a 5A Metro bout, on Thursday, December 15. Metro Tech will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record. The Bobcats go into the bout with a 3-4 record after their 60-32 non-league loss to Paradise Valley (Phoenix, AZ).
