In Wednesday's league outing, the Coventry Oakers (Coventry, RI) basketball squad beat the host Tiverton Tigers (Tiverton, RI), by a margin of 49-37.

The Oakers (1-1) will now prepare for their outing against Moses Brown (Providence, RI). The Quakers go into the Division 2 outing with a 1-1 record. In their last outing, Moses Brown was beaten by Sacred Heart Academy (Hamden, CT), 72-28, in a non-league outing.

The Tigers now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they host Smithfield for a Division 2 outing on Friday, December 15. Tiverton will clash with a Sentinels squad coming off a 41-34 league win over Mt. Hope (Bristol, RI). The Sentinels record now stands at 1-1.
