In their next game, the Cougars encounter the McMichael Phoenix (Mayodan, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 17. Rockingham County will attempt to improve on its 5-1 season record. The Phoenix come into the challenge with a 1-8 record after their 70-55 league loss to T.W. Andrews (High Point, NC).
