The Blue Valley North Mustangs were victorious over the host St. James Academy Thunder basketball squad by a final score of 60-49 in Saturday's league outing.

Next, the Mustangs face the Lee's Summit Tigers (Lee's Summit, MO) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, December 17. Blue Valley North will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Tigers enter the outing with a 4-0 record after their 52-48 non-league win over Burroughs (St. Louis, MO).

The Thunder (2-2) will now prepare for their outing against Maranatha Christian Academy (Shawnee, KS). The Eagles enter the non-league outing with a 1-2 record. In their last outing, Maranatha Christian Academy ran past Waverly (Waverly, KS), 70-41, in a non-league outing.
