The Yellowjackets (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Cherokee (Cherokee, NC). The Braves come into the 1A Big Smoky challenge with a 3-3 record. In their last challenge, Cherokee dropped by Cosby (Cosby, TN), 58-54, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Maroon Devils battle the Hiwassee Dam Eagles (Murphy, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 3. Swain County will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record.
