The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Madison County Red Raiders (Danielsville, GA) and the visiting Walnut Grove Warriors (Walnut Grove, GA), observed Madison County's basketball team overwhelm Walnut Grove by a score of 66-23.

The Red Raiders (8-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Stephens County (Toccoa, GA). The Indians come into the non-league challenge with a 1-6 record. In their last challenge, Stephens County was routed by West Hall (Oakwood, GA), 60-58, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Warriors encounter the W D Mohammed Caliphs (Atlanta, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 14. Walnut Grove will attempt to improve on its 0-10 season record. The Caliphs come into the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 56-45 non-league loss to Arlington Christian (Fairburn, GA).
