The Bacon County Raiders (Alma, GA) basketball were winner over the visiting Appling County Pirates (Baxley, GA), 36-28 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Raiders now possess a 6-1 record. They play next when they travel to Toombs County for a non-league bout on Friday, December 20.

With the loss, Appling County falls to 4-4 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Jeff Davis (Hazlehurst, GA) to play the Yellowjackets in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 14. The Yellowjackets go into the bout with a record of 3-4. Jeff Davis lost 56-48 in their recent non-league bout against Telfair County (McRae, GA)
