Georgia High School Basketball - Bacon County falls to Appling County

December 21, 2024: Baxley, GA 31513

The Bacon County Raiders basketball squad (Alma, GA), was outscored 50-42 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Appling County Pirates (Baxley, GA)

With the victory, Appling County advances its record to 7-5 on the year. The Pirates travel to Tift County (Tifton, GA) to meet the Blue Devils in a non-league battle on Saturday, December 28. The Blue Devils enter the battle with a record of 4-5. Tift County won 41-16 in their recent non-league battle against Northside (Warner Robins, GA)

The Raiders now own a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Brantley County for a A D1 Region 1 battle on Saturday, January 4.
