Ohio High School Basketball - Johnstown-Monroe triumphant over Heath

The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Johnstown-Monroe Johnnies (Johnstown, OH) and the host Heath Bulldogs (Heath, OH), observed Johnstown-Monroe's basketball team overwhelm Heath by a score of 54-26.

The Johnnies (5-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Licking Valley (Newark, OH). The Panthers go into the Licking County - Buckeye bout with a 1-6 record. In their last bout, Licking Valley was ripped by Mt. Vernon (Mt. Vernon, OH), 42-38, in a league bout.

With the loss, Heath falls to 1-5 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Licking Heights (Pataskala, OH) to play the Hornets in a Licking County - Buckeye bout on Tuesday, December 17. The Hornets go into the bout with a record of 1-5. Licking Heights lost 42-24 in their recent league bout against Granville (Granville, OH)
