In Friday's non-league contest, the host Rushford-Peterson Trojans basketball team scored a big 69-40 triumph over the La Crescent Lancers.
The Trojans (3-3) will now prepare for their contest against Kenyon-Wanamingo (Kenyon, MN). The Knights go into the A Section 1 contest with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, Kenyon-Wanamingo smashed LeRoy-Ostrander (LeRoy, MN), 49-44, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Lancers confront the Lewiston-Altura Cardinals (Lewiston, MN) in a non-league contest, on Friday, December 20. La Crescent will attempt to better on its 0-6 season record.
