Georgia High School Basketball - Taylor County defeats Schley County

The Taylor County Vikings (Butler, GA) basketball were winner over the host Schley County Wildcats (Ellaville, GA), 51-42 in Friday's league bout.

The Vikings now possess a 4-0 record. They play next when they travel to Peach County for a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 17. Taylor County will play a Trojans team coming off a 47-27 non-league win over Twiggs County (Jeffersonville, GA). The Trojans record now stands at 2-4.

With the loss, Schley County falls to 3-4 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Crawford County (Roberta, GA) to play the Eagles in a A D2 Region 6 bout on Saturday, December 14. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 0-5. Crawford County lost 62-17 in their recent non-league bout against Lamar County (Barnesville, GA)
