Georgia High School Basketball - Taylor County thwarts Schley County

The crowd at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Taylor County Vikings (Butler, GA) and the visiting Schley County Wildcats (Ellaville, GA), observed Taylor County's basketball team knock off Schley County by a score of 58-43.

The Vikings (18-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Macon County (Montezuma, GA). The Bulldogs come into the non-league challenge with a 18-3 record. In their last challenge, Macon County prevailed over Marion County (Buena Vista, GA), 58-54, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Wildcats encounter the Marion County Eagles (Buena Vista, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 13. Schley County will attempt to improve on its 14-10 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 12-10 record after their 51-45 non-league win over Chattahoochee County (Cusseta, GA).
