New Mexico High School Basketball - Cleveland succumbs to La Cueva

In Saturday's non-league bout, the La Cueva Bears (Albuquerque, NM) basketball team were winner over the host Cleveland Storm (Rio Rancho, NM), by a tally of 75-62.

The Bears now possess a 6-0 record. They play next when they travel to Broomfield for a non-league bout on Thursday, December 18. La Cueva will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 52-45 non-league win over Smoky Hill (Aurora, CO). The Eagles record now stands at 3-2.

The Storm (4-1) will now prepare for their test against Organ Mountain (Las Cruces, NM). The Knights come into the non-league test with a 4-2 record. In their last test, Organ Mountain went down by Las Cruces (Las Cruces, NM), 69-52, in a non-league test.
