The Jefferson Bulldogs basketball team scored 49 points and limited the host New Boston Lions to 31 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Saturday.

Next, the Bulldogs clash with the Hooks Hornets (Hooks, TX) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, December 16. Jefferson will attempt to upgrade on its 10-1 season record. The Hornets enter the outing with a 8-5 record after their 73-20 league win over Queen City (Queen City, TX).

The Lions (6-7) will now prepare for their game against Redwater (Redwater, TX). The Dragons go into the 3A Region II District 14 game with a 6-16 record. In their last game, Redwater was toppled by Atlanta (Atlanta, TX), 73-27, in a league outing.
