The Bibb County Choctaws basketball team scored 61 points and held the host West Blocton Tigers to 33 in the Choctaws league triumph on Tuesday.

The Choctaws now sport a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pickens County for a non-league contest on Friday, December 17. Bibb County will meet a Tornadoes team coming off a 59-54 non-league win over Aliceville (Aliceville, AL). The Tornadoes record now stands at 3-1.

The Tigers (6-6) will now prepare for their contest against Brookwood (Brookwood, AL). The Panthers enter the non-league contest with a 4-10 record. In their last contest, Brookwood was routed by Paul W. Bryant (Cottondale, AL), 78-34, in a league contest.
