In Wednesday's league outing, the Crystal Lake South Gators (Crystal Lake, IL) basketball squad beat the visiting Cary-Grove Trojans (Cary, IL), by a margin of 50-36.

The Gators (9-1) will now prepare for their outing against Huntley (Huntley, IL). The Red Raiders go into the Fox Valley outing with a 8-2 record. In their last outing, Huntley defeated McHenry (McHenry, IL), 51-34, in a league outing.

The Trojans now own a 3-6 record. They play next when they host Marian Central Catholic for a non-league outing on Monday, December 19. Cary-Grove will clash with a Hurricanes squad coming off a 67-63 non-league win over Harvest Christian Academy (Elgin, IL). The Hurricanes record now stands at 4-7.
