The Mattanawcook Lynx basketball team scored 68 points and restricted the host Stearns Minutemen to 58 in the Lynx league victory on Wednesday.
The Lynx now sport a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Calais for a C North contest on Friday, December 16. Mattanawcook will battle a Blue Devils team coming off a 75-42 league win over Narraguagus (Harrington, ME). The Blue Devils record now stands at 2-0.
The Minutemen (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Dexter (Dexter, ME). The Tigers come into the C North contest with a 3-0 record. In their last contest, Dexter prevailed over Penquis Valley (Milo, ME), 58-35, in a league contest.
