The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawks basketball team scored 62 points and held the host Tipton Tigers to 50 in the Golden Hawks league triumph on Thursday.

The Golden Hawks now sport a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Durant for a River Valley contest on Friday, December 15. Mid-Prairie will play a Wildcats squad coming off a 59-45 non-league loss to Louisa-Muscatine (Letts, IA). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-7.

Next up, the Tigers play the Regina Regals (Iowa City, IA) in a River Valley bout, on Friday, December 15. Tipton will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The Regals come into the bout with a 5-2 record after their 58-50 league win over West Branch (West Branch, IA).
