Iowa High School Basketball - Mid-Prairie knocked off by Tipton

The Tipton Tigers basketball team scored 68 points and held the host Mid-Prairie Golden Hawks to 54 in the Tigers league triumph on Monday.
The Tigers now sport a 9-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Branch for a River Valley contest on Tuesday, February 6. Tipton will meet a Bears team coming off a 57-33 league win over Wilton (Wilton, IA). The Bears record now stands at 12-8.
The Golden Hawks (11-8) will now prepare for their contest against Fairfield (Fairfield, IA). The Trojans enter the non-league contest with a 1-17 record. In their last contest, Fairfield was outscored by West Burlington (West Burlington, IA), 70-50, in a non-league contest.
