With the victory, Gainesville upgrades its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Hurricanes host Forest (Ocala, FL) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 3. The Wildcats come into the bout with a record of 0-5. Forest lost 62-46 in their recent non-league bout against North Marion (Citra, FL)

Next up, the Knights play the Dunnellon Tigers (Dunnellon, FL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 15. Vanguard will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Tigers come into the bout with a 0-2 record after their 44-39 non-league loss to North Marion (Citra, FL).
