    The Penns Manor Comets (Clymer, PA) basketball nipped the visiting Homer-Center Wildcats (Homer City, PA), 44-37 in Thursday's league test.

    The Comets (4-1) will now prepare for their test against Ferndale (Johnstown, PA). The Yellow Jackets go into the non-league test with a 2-3 record. In their last test, Ferndale was tipped by Blacklick Valley (Nanty Glo, PA), 50-21, in a league test.

    The Wildcats now own a 3-2 record. They play next when they host River Valley for a Heritage test on Wednesday, December 20.
