Lafayette Hornets (Mayo, FL) fans were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Dixie County Bears (Cross City, FL), 5-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Hornets confront the Taylor County Bulldogs (Perry, FL) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 15. Lafayette will attempt to better on its 8-1 season record. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a 7-3 record after their 3-0 league win over Marianna (Marianna, FL).

The Bears now have a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they host Newberry for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 19.
