Texas High School Basketball - Austin knocks off Sharpstown

In Saturday's league contest, the host Austin Mustangs basketball team scored a good 50-38 win over the Sharpstown Apollos.

The Mustangs (6-5) will now prepare for their contest against Galena Park (Galena Park, TX). The Yellowjackets come into the 5A Region III District 21 contest with a 6-8 record. In their last contest, Galena Park was topped by Westbury (Houston, TX), 44-40, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Apollos battle the Wisdom Generals (Houston, TX) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, December 19. Sharpstown will attempt to better on its 1-8 season record.
