The Grant County Braves basketball team scored 69 points and limited the host Owen County Rebels to 66 in the Braves non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Braves now have a 2-2 record. They play next when they host Western Hills for a non-league game on Tuesday, December 17. Grant County will confront a Wolverines team coming off a 53-49 non-league loss to Sayre (Lexington, KY). The Wolverines record now stands at 0-4.

With the loss, Owen County falls to 4-1 on the campaign. The Rebels host Gallatin County (Warsaw, KY) to confront the Wildcats in a District 31 game on Monday, December 16. The Wildcats go into the game with a record of 4-2. Gallatin County lost 65-50 in their recent non-league game against Anderson County (Lawrenceburg, KY)
