Texas High School Basketball - Orange Grove knocks off George West

In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Orange Grove Bulldogs basketball team scored a good 49-38 win over the George West Longhorns.
The Bulldogs (6-12) will now prepare for their contest against Falfurrias (Falfurrias, TX). The Fightin' Jerseys come into the 3A Region IV District 30 contest with a 0-5 record. In their last contest, Falfurrias dropped by Mathis (Mathis, TX), 37-29, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Longhorns battle the Taft Greyhounds (Taft, TX) in a 3A Region IV District 29 contest, on Friday, December 20. George West will attempt to better on its 7-14 season record. The Greyhounds come into the contest with a 13-5 record after their 47-42 league win over Aransas Pass (Aransas Pass, TX).
