Ohio High School Basketball - Steele can't hold off Midview

The Midview Middies nipped the host Steele Comets basketball squad by a final score of 51-49 in Saturday's league outing.

Next, the Middies face the Avon Lake Shoremen (Avon Lake, OH) in a Southwestern outing, on Wednesday, December 18. Midview will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record. The Shoremen enter the outing with a 6-0 record after their 54-42 non-league win over North Allegheny (Wexford, PA).

The Comets (2-4) will now prepare for their outing against Berea-Midpark (Berea, OH). The Titans enter the Southwestern outing with a 3-3 record. In their last outing, Berea-Midpark was nipped by Avon Lake (Avon Lake, OH), 58-45, in a league outing.
