The crowd at Saturday's league challenge between the Hampden Broncos (Hampden, ME) and the visiting Old Town Coyotes (Old Town, ME), witnessed Hampden's ice hockey team defeat Old Town by a final score of 3-1.

The Broncos (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Messalonskee (Oakland, ME). The Eagles come into the Class B North challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Messalonskee got by Lewiston (Lewiston, ME), 6-3, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Coyotes battle the Biddeford Tigers (Biddeford, ME) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 28. Old Town will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record.
