Ohio High School Ice Hockey - Walsh Jesuit nudges Mentor

In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Walsh Jesuit Warriors ice hockey team scored a close 3-1 victory over the Mentor Cardinals.

The Warriors (9-3) will now prepare for their contest against Rocky River (Rocky River, OH). The Pirates go into the non-league contest with a 5-4 record. In their last contest, Rocky River edged Benedictine (Cleveland, OH), 5-2, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Cardinals play the Shaker Heights Red Raiders (Shaker Heights, OH) in a non-league contest, on Sunday, December 15. Mentor will attempt to better on its 9-5 season record. The Red Raiders go into the contest with a 4-6 record after their 5-2 non-league win over Strongsville (Strongsville, OH).
