The Cloudcroft Bears basketball team scored 53 points and restricted the visiting Carrizozo Grizzlies to 37 in the Bears non-league victory on Thursday.
The Bears now sport a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cliff for a non-league contest on Friday, December 16. Cloudcroft will battle a Cowboys/Cowgirls team coming off a 73-19 non-league win over Mountainair (Mountainair, NM). The Cowboys/Cowgirls record now stands at 6-0.
The Grizzlies (0-8) will now prepare for their contest against Mountainair (Mountainair, NM). The Mustangs come into the non-league contest with a 1-5 record. In their last contest, Mountainair was defeated by Cliff (Cliff, NM), 73-19, in a non-league contest.
