Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Mesick Bulldogs (Mesick, MI) and the visiting Catholic Central Sabers (Manistee, MI), saw Mesick's basketball squad wallop Catholic Central by a tally of 65-42.

With the victory, Mesick improves its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Hart (Hart, MI) to confront the Pirates in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 21. The Pirates come into the challenge with a record of 4-0.

Next up, the Sabers confront the Marion Eagles (Marion, MI) in a West Michigan D challenge, on Thursday, January 5. Catholic Central will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record.
