The Cove Leopards (Cove, OR) basketball nipped the visiting Four Rivers Falcons (Ontario, OR), 51-50 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Leopards (4-1) will now prepare for their test against Powder Valley (North Powder, OR). The Badgers go into the 1A Old Oregon test with a 3-2 record. In their last test, Powder Valley got by Elgin (Elgin, OR), 61-23, in a league test.
The Falcons now own a 3-3 record. They play next when they travel to Elgin for a non-league test on Friday, December 16. Four Rivers will encounter a Huskies squad coming off a 61-23 league loss to Powder Valley (North Powder, OR). The Huskies record now stands at 0-5.
