In Thursday's league outing, the Forrest City Mustangs (Forrest City, AR) basketball squad felled the visiting Westside Warriors (Jonesboro, AR), by a margin of 87-72.
The Mustangs (4-6) will now prepare for their outing against Highland (Hardy, AR). The Rebels go into the 4A Region 3 outing with a 7-3 record. In their last outing, Highland was beaten by Blytheville (Blytheville, AR), 69-40, in a league outing.
The Warriors now own a 4-3 record. They play next when they travel to Corning for a non-league outing on Saturday, December 17. Westside will clash with a Bobcats squad coming off a 55-50 league loss to Gosnell (Gosnell, AR). The Bobcats record now stands at 4-4.
