The Towns County Indians basketball team scored 56 points and held the host Aquinas Fightin' Irish to 41 in the Indians league triumph on Friday.
The Indians now sport a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Tallulah Falls for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 19. Towns County will battle a Indians team coming off a 68-46 non-league loss to Athens Academy (Athens, GA). The Indians record now stands at 3-10.
The Fightin' Irish (2-4) will now prepare for their contest against Washington-Wilkes (Washington, GA). The Tigers enter the A D2 Region 8 contest with a 1-4 record. In their last contest, Washington-Wilkes was defeated by Greene County (Greensboro, GA), 72-68, in a league contest.
