The Benjamin Davis Falcons (Houston, TX) basketball felled the visiting Nimitz Cougars (Houston, TX), 49-39 in Friday's league test.

The Falcons (9-6) will now prepare for their test against Westfield (Houston, TX). The Mustangs go into the 6A Region II District 14 test with a 7-4 record. In their last test, Westfield thwarted Dekaney (Houston, TX), 50-46, in a league test.

The Cougars now own a 8-9 record. They play next when they travel to Foster for a non-league test on Wednesday, December 27.
