Virginia High School Basketball - Pulaski County topped by Blacksburg

The Blacksburg Bruins basketball team scored 63 points and restricted the host Pulaski County Cougars to 45 in the Bruins league victory on Friday.
The Bruins now sport a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Giles for a non-league contest on Monday, December 18. Blacksburg will battle a Spartans team coming off a 86-32 league loss to George Wythe (Wytheville, VA). The Spartans record now stands at 2-4.
The Cougars (2-4) will now prepare for their contest against Hidden Valley (Roanoke, VA). The Titans come into the River Ridge contest with a 2-4 record. In their last contest, Hidden Valley was defeated by Northside (Roanoke, VA), 71-47, in a non-league contest.
